the random thought caused by reopening

few days ago someone (one and only follower of the blog most probably) reminded me bout it. so just to add some spice to the blog and mostly in order to regain peace of mind let's start again

do you know how it is to get to know something? i bet you do coz the process is (even if unaware) similar in every  case, no matter if a new topic, a person or a place is concerned. at the begining you  dont know what to expect, may be excited or a bit anxious, in this stage you are willing to judge on the cover, follow sterotypes or opinions of others. then you have your first contact: you usually survive it so you stop being afraid anymore, perhaps getting more curious but for now you're glad its over. at the second level you explore the object a bit more: start noticing and memorising stuff (although the previous awkwardness at the begining), here the first likes/dislikes may begin. In the later phase  you feel totally familiar with the person, about the topic or in the place, the emotions are more and more controllable, you start rulling the process of thought and manipulate the connection you have with the object.  In the end usually comes the strangest, most uninvestigated feeling: BOREDOM- you can't help it bere is no spark. if you are lucky  some small note of sentiment towards the thing pops up occasionally in your mind.

this lengthy theory is supposed to be an introduction to presenting a place I like in Poznan .
its called DRAGON, it's a club and it's older than my stay in this city (so for me it has been here forever). since I go there too often we are gradually gettin to the ending phase of our relationship...

this is dragon btw

so much happened

so much happened, it's even pointless to list it. i was pretty devasted with my own emotions so that's why most probably my motivation towards this blog vanished.
anyways let's not waste time anymore, skip the whole personal litany of "what hapened wooohoohoo" by moving to what has inspired me for all this time of abscence. obviously it will tell a bit of what i was going through but whathehell!

.....dadadadam..... is it a song? a movie? a mark of a lipstick in the colour i like? a sex position (i wish) ?

list it. for music in particular:

hercules and love affair mostly "painted eyes", "athena", "blind"; empire of the sun "we are the people" (invariably); parov stelar all! especially "lost in amsterdam", rihanna feat. drake "whats my name?", gene pitney "something's gotten hold on my heart", nicolas jaar "space is only noise"-cool album as a whole and "stay in love" as the best single which is insanely hard to download

ok but what  simply needs to find its place here, and it must have happened sooner or later is Royskopp's "sparks". enjoy future generations:

nothing much in movies though. in books i liked Alberto Moravia's "Il viaggio a Roma " and what i simply adore  for its irony, language, sense of humour and the fact I couldnt stop laughing on the bus- Michal Witkowski's "Barbara Radziwiłłówna z Jaworzna-Szczakowej "

as to other passions... I hope to elaborate on l8er!!!

the song i like to play from time to time, even if it is the last thing I do before passing out after a party...  one of those that stuck in your head and you will keep them in mind for ever. hm I should make a list of those. the songs you listen to, commemorate the state of mind/stage in life you were at the time of discovering them.

i discovered  "the spell" by Screamin Jay probably like all the other people who happened to watch "stranger than paradise" by incredible Jim Jarmusch.

maaaan now i'm thinking i should totally see it again! since it's "..a very, very funny film which resists rational description as strongly as it resists pigeonholing" (the review on the poster).
Yep i should watch it as i can't remember how funny it was (was it?) it's a pity i must have not got it then....

I can't help Im getting inspired by the motherf***s!!! (said the unconscious hater and wanna-be)

Hugo’s the Hipster diary:
09.00-the retro alarm clock jumps on the table. Hugo  catches it and after a few tries turns it off and falls asleep again.

11.40-rolls a cig and smokes

12.15-breakfast (fair trade baby’s food to stay in “shape”)
12.35-packs his messanger bag:
Ø        Ipod with newest albums of Röyksopp, Jónsi and Staff Benda Bilili
Ø        Vintage pen and classy Moleskine sketchbook
Ø        Spanish tobacco and paper
Ø        Allowance check (from parents)
Ø        Vanilla coke

13.15-arrives to Arts Academy
13.30-lectures: “Nitsche’s influences in post-modern Iranian art”
                                “Ecological aspects of artistic processes”
(doesn’t write down the homework as the topic is totally fin)
16.30-eats a tofu and drinks small black coffee in the Greenway bar
18.00-sneaks into a gym in some doggy neighborhood and secretly works out for an hour
19.30-comes bck home, reads K MAG while listening to old vinyls
21.00-his friends: Mathilda, Oscar, Moses and Ella come bringing a few bottles of cheap wine
23.30-they go out (already drunk) to a “herbal friendly” party
1.30-they leave as there are too many midtown children
2.00-they arrive to the off club belonging to a bunch of artists and listen to some underground minimal band
3.00-Hugo makes out with Oscar and Ella
4.00-philosophical discussion with a local poet, smokes a few cigs
5.00-comes bck home and after a few tries finally sets the retro alarm clock again
5.15-falls asleep

the ad i found recently. frankly speaking this officially became my favourite one. (beating even poor J.Aniston in Heineken)

brilliant idea! break the rules as you do, be independent.
the commercial got the first prize in Cannes in 2000

btw here is Heineken (banned as politically non-correct, wtf? I wouldn't mind being compared to the beer, same pleasure for a guy <ironic>)

the very e-begining

the time has come, the moment I feel to "go public".

the main question then is: how? some people write and share with others their hobbies: some run thematical blogs about games, flowers, chickens, food. or some other bullshit. but for me a blog is highly individualistic, Im not gonna pretend I care about objectivity. stressing MY opinion and MY perspective: coz this is COOL what I expire. But you are free to follow !

btw:

This 'super cool' name for the blog came to me in some random Dutch  haidresser's where my name was spelled wrong by a cute but silly blondie with blue eyeshadows. I should have asked her to be Weronyka's (who came to do her eyebrows) first follower
